Milton is a hardened felon who has broken out of Hell, intent on finding the vicious cult who brutally murdered his daughter and kidnapped her baby. He joins forces with a sexy, tough-as-nails waitress, who's also seeking redemption of her own. It's Nicolas fucking cage in a revenge trip against a cult and rescue his granddaughter with the help from a Fiesty and willing waitress. Look the movie isn't anything new but damn it's alot of fun
Milton (cage) escapes from hell and cage brings a cool and action packed performance even with a sex charged shootout. Piper (heard) is pretty cool here too. I like her character and the team between those two are the best thing in the movie for me. William as the accountant is pretty cool too and his character is the most interesting.
The story and action is just fun. It jumps right into the action and doesn't let up. It's not the most complex action but it's entertaining. The story is a simple revenge and rescue story but it works.
The cult is good villians and billy Burke plays s satanic cult leader well. The music is not the best but I remember looking to download them when I first watched the movie.
It's definitely a fun guilty pleasure action movie elevated by nic cage. I always have a good time with drive angry. It's nothing complex but the cage madness and fun make it worth it.
