i didnt understand what the movie was supposed to be about specifically, it kept jumping around a ton of different statements, and ended up making none i think. (nothing new or powerful atleast) the pacing was so odd, and the movie lasted too long.

The first 40 min of the film were good and compelling but went down hill after the first hour of the film and lacks understanding and purpose and it really doesn’t tell you a final message.It does do a good job of realism when defending a terrible person and what will happen and I did like the perspective of the kid in some parts.

The first 30 minutes are the most tense I have been in a while. Then, it comes to a staggering halt.

Not in a bad way, it’s meant to bring you back to the horrors of reality, but that whiplash threw me off. I remember hearing about this when I was in grade 11, but didn’t know the extent of the harm done. Extremely tragic for the victims and their families.
