that was so unbelievably gorgeous, what a treat for the eyes with the colours and the art style. i loved having this messaging and symbolism through colours, the contrast between the vibrancy and warm of such dangerous red and the icy coldness of the blue. it was miraculous.
the framing and some of the shockingly stunning shots of this short genuinely made me slightly emotional, i felt a little teary with how somber it all felt. how hard these competitors are pushing themselves to the point of breaking just because of the immense amount of pressure that it layered on them. whether that be mental, physical. comparing yourself to others in hopes to be at their level but that person is likely also doing the same thing.
