❝Real power is not found running off to war. Real power lies in understanding who it is you're truly fighting, and how they can be defeated.❞

The King's Man was such a huge let-down considering how good the other two films are. There was so much going on and none of it was executed particularly well. Ralph Fiennes was the only saving grace here, and even he almost got nerfed by the cringey script multiple times. What hurt the most was the action sequences; the previous Kingsman films had such awesome camerawork and fight choreography that practically everyone knows even if they haven't seen the films, and for some reason Matthew Vaughn decided to just skip all of that in favour of Rhys Ifans doing the Rasputin Just Dance on top of a table while getting swords thrust at his legs (I genuinely felt like I was on crack watching that scene). There were some nice references to The Secret Service and The Golden Circle, and some unexpected but not unwelcome cameos, but overall this isn't a great film, and I'm choosing to ignore its existence in the Kingsman cinematic universe.
