Hugh Jackman's performance as Senator Gary Hart was probably his best performance ever, at least in my eyes. Kaitlyn Dever's performance as Andrea Hart, Gary's daughter, was probably my favorite performance out of all the cast members, she was great. The film itself was fantastic, the writing was definitely worthy of a Best Adapted Screenplay nod. The case of the Gary Hart and Donna Rice affair changed politics because since then the press has started creeping around in the lives of politicians hoping for a scandal to bring them down. I am glad my mom bought me the Blu-Ray for this film, it's a shsme the digital code expired.
