i just love when i come across these queer films from the 1970s or just from back in the day in general because they are often ones that i almost see nobody ever bring up or talk about when too many of them are too good to be such underrated films and deserve alot more love but i know that these types of films are often well known in the queer community and not so very known outside of it but i thought that this one was a very decent one in my own opinion with how much it had me wishing i could have just one night to experience the gay club life in the 1970s because it looked so chaotic and just full of so many wonderful human beings getting all together to get to be themselves freely in this club and just vibe and talk with one another and just the club life back then looked way more fun then today with how everyone nowadays just stands around on their phones and not dance with others like i want that authentic club feel and im obviously not saying i would want to live that decade because it wasn’t the best for queer people to be themselves and were hate crimed so much more on a daily basis back then and even now is still happening but i would just anything for just a feel of that nightlife and as for characters in the film im gonna be honest i wasn’t really vibing with michael’s character even after getting his whole little sad backstory because sure it wasn’t the boys fault for how he was brought up by his father but just from the very beginning of them film i just couldn’t like him because all the disgusting remarks he kept making towards queer men and sure he does grow from it but even after that i just couldn’t bring myself to like him meanwhile on the other hand i loved the character of scotti and saw so much of myself in him as a fellow queer male like that was practically myself on that very screen and that whole sequence between him and michael at the end should have been me making love to him on top of that waterbed but anyways!

I have heard of this for years but finally just watched it. I really enjoyed it more than I'd thought. Scotti was so damn cute!
