Beautiful cinematography, which I find follows all Bergman films (predominantly in the first half though). I think I would've enjoyed it a lot more if it was more based around philosophy and the enjoyment/exploration of life instead of ending in a shitty and depressing situation that most are stuck in nowadays. I understand that what happens in the film is an exploration of life and I sorta contradict myself, but I'm sure ykwim if you've seen it. Anyhow, I enjoyed the film and I'm definitely enjoying Bergman, so nothing bad to take away from it by any means.
