Oh, what a delightful underseen gem of a film. Incredibly endearing and so deeply pure, a winning combination of Preston Sturges' screenplay and William Wyler's direction. And I am endlessly smitten with Margaret Sullavan, I'm really going to make an effort to watch as much of her short filmography that I can. Seek this one out for sure.

Nother day, nother Wyler as they say. Like the previous one I watched, this seemingly isn't much more than a fun 30s romcom and we'll that would be a correct assessment. While it doesn't surprise it does what it intends to well. The movie is super charming and very entertaining. The actors are undoubtedly what makes the movie for me, as many scenes felt to kinda run long for me, but the actors kept me entertained with their fun performances.
