BLU RAY CHALLENGE, FILM #24
The way I’d describe this film is by saying it’s a novelty. There would be no way this type of film would be made today. It works out better as a tv special (Like the 100 Scariest Movie Moments tv special I watched all the time as a kid) rather than a full length film. But owning this film is like owning a part of history. It’s not perfect, but it makes the horror film lover part of my heart happy.
My Blu Ray copy includes a censored for tv cut, and I watched that right after the theatrical cut. It’s almost completely different, but still very interesting to watch.
