2018 Releases#57

This almost was a 2 1/2 star movie for me, as it felt very OK to me, but then that last action scene kind of pissed me off and lost that 1/2 star.

It's a very fine movie. It has it's monents of pretty good and pretty bad. The main thing that kind of pissed me off was the cinematography. It didn't feel like they really knew what to do. There was a lot of shaky-cam where it felt like there should be some sort of more fluid shot.

The plot, while recycled, wasn't all that bad. There was probably one moment of genuine tension, but at least it worked. The characters were also just OK. They obviously had good enough motives, but there wasn't anything that made then stand out in any way.

This is really just another one of those "just kind of there" movies.
