I was going to write something snarky about the next film not existing but I can’t do that. Instead I’m angry that the author of the book series took this cast from us after this film. Out of all of the Department Q films, this is my personal favourite. It’s a superbly written and shot film with some beautiful moments, it’s incredibly dark as well, possibly the darkest of the franchise which makes the payoff even more satisfying.
After watching this, I’ll never understand how someone can watch this and say no, I’ll replace everything that makes this film great.
