A thug is a thug even if they wearing a uniform and trained to counter other thugs. And it should never be accepted for a police force to treat its civilians as harshly as shown here with no means of proper rehabilitation or correction of the circumstances that make them the thugs they are. And the decision makers above them should not be allowed to walk off free from the judgement of what they allow, advise or even instruct and direct their officers and soldiers to do. Especially when they, the uniformed thugs, decide that they will become the criminal thugs while still wearing uniforms.
