Karate in this movie are like the mogging streams on twitch, before attending karate Casey was considered feminine because he didn’t like what other men liked, and after joining karate they showed these men doing the gayest shit ever, but it’s fine, because they were still doing a manly sport! Towards the end after he killed sensei, Casey maintained the considered ‘manly’ essence, however he still respected Anna which Leslie could not. This movie covered so much on misogyny and how men are just making themselves miserable and i adored it.
