Aside from the poor acting, poor script, poor effects, poor sound quality, and poor video quality, it actually wasn't that bad of a movie.

It was not even an hour and a half long but it dragged so much that I genuinely got irritated. Terrible film.

House of the Witch has every hallmark of a terrible straight to DVD/streaming horror movie: terrible acting for terribly written characters, abysmal CGI, stupid characters making wildly irrational and nonsensical actions, a story that has to have been written by a computer that has so many inconsistencies and a poorly written story. I hate all of the characters. They don't pay any attention to what each other are doing and continue to discover and rediscover what other people have already discovered. No one has a real personality, partially because the entire script is awful and the characters aren't given personalities, but mostly because every actor is absolutely terrible. The plot makes no sense and all of the effects look so bad. House of the Witch has some value as a film to watch with friends and just rip apart, but in no way should (or even could) it be enjoyed as a legitimate movie. The prevailing emotion isn't fear or anticipation; it's frustration.
