If this had a bigger budget, it has the potential to be a masterpiece. I’ll review this from a cinephile perspective rather than a Kanye fan. The story is beautiful, and the music like Runaway and Lost In The World elevates it so much. I did like how this was shorter overall, and the music is so beautiful, and great throughout. The film does have a deeper meaning behind it too, about how our society rejects different people. But, that’s where the positives end. The acting is flat out terrible, especially Kanye himself. You can also tell how cheaply this film was made. It doesn’t really bring anything to the table besides a way to listen to a ton of Kanye. If you’re watching through a Kanye fan perspective you’ll love it, besides that not really.
