I know exactly why every time i watch their confrontation scene i have this sense of familiarity. I think its not supposed to be that way but idk i feel like that. When each of them opened up their own problems, even though the reason was not exactly happy, it felt so good. They were able to tell each other the words that kept eating them for years. Dex who felt invisible as the youngest kid when his siblings grew up. Cha who was willing to sacrifice her self respect for her kids. Brian who needed to be workaholic to heal his self from the fact that he wasnt able to become a father to his own son. And the kuya who feels burdened by his obligations and constantly needing help from others. Tangina they each had their own misery and they werent able to share it until that confrontation. 

And i wish every kids in every family are able to express themselves anytime. 🥹🥹

Bata pa lang ako when I first watched this film, rewatching it now hits differently. I really love this movie, lahat ng bawat tao sa pamilya nila may nararamdaman, it’s not all about the eldest, the middle child, and the youngest. We all have different situations in life, lahat tayo ay may problemang kailangang solusyunan and they all have different stories to tell—kagaya  natin. Everyone deserves to be heard. Padayon !!
