I’m just gonna be honest.. Eric Rohmer filming action sequences is the most awkward thing I have ever seen.. I guess it’s cool seeing him work in another language and with different material than usual.. but this ain’t it haha.
Kind makes me anxious for Perceval.. because it’s very long and this became a chore by the end. His aesthetic and visual style just don’t work for me when you’re making an historic epic based on one of the biggest literary works in German history.
