u can really tell that they never read the book, and barely watched the 60s film. it takes all the good things from the source material, throws them up in the air and shoots at em with a fricking gatling gun.

The Jackal
Okay, so I did not expect Richard Gere to speak with an Irish accent, or to see Bruce Willis with hair. This movie wasn’t really that good, but it wasn’t ”bad” either. I just had higher expectations, which might be because I kept comparing it too much to the series. This version of the Jackal felt much more psychopathic and brutal. I know that’s kind of the point of a villain, but still!
