This was really good! All of the usual Kiarostami beats - long scene in a car, rural landscapes, and musings on life, perspective, and love.
I thought this was Kiarostami's most technically stunning film, and I liked that there was a 'surreal' element to this.
That said, while his older Iranian stuff is always so direct, this one feels like it was spinning a bit on how intellectual he wants it to be. I don't know what to really take away from this.
Still really great, just didn't hit me the same way Close Up or Taste of Cherry did!
