amazing soundtrack, horrible fashion. i didn't love the lighting and some scenes were pretty cringe, same plot like 1000 other movies but i fear that's exactly what i like. honestly pretty enjoyable

Shaft is another really entertaining entry mostly because of Samuel L Jackson. Jesse T usher who is a good actor (specifically in the boys) for some reason in this is kinda bad with alot of his deliveries being almost unwatchable. I hope another shaft movie gets made even if it wouldn’t be the same without Richard roundtree.

Shaft 2019 brings all 4 generations of the bad mother.... together. The latest movie in the series doesn't hold the charm and classics of the 70s run or the remake. That being said it's still fun. This time we mostly follow jnr as he investigates the death of a friend with the help of his father. The story is fine. It's nothing special and the villians are a bit on the boring side. The shafts remain cool and I like the father son relationship. The action and investigation elements are done well enough mostly made better with Sam Jackson's preformance. The music is definitely a downgrade though with a pretty unmemorable theme song. Shaft 2019 is a fun but definitely not my favorite entry in the series. The cast do a good job and with some fun action I still like it and had a good time.
