it’s always a pretty conflicting watch with 3 From Hell, because believe me it has its moments, unnecessary at that, but it’s one of those “im not gonna pretend that wasn’t badass” films. but it doesn’t shake the feeling of not really being all that nuanced. okay, you want the Fireflys doing putrid stuff on the run all while somebody wants to take revenge on them because they killed a relative, maybe just watch The Devil’s Rejects again. i don’t know. it’s hard for me to completely shit on it because it’s a Rob Zombie film. it’s fun but fucked up entertainment. you can’t fully say it isn’t what it promised to be, but nonetheless it’s a downgrade from its predecessors. i do like the dynamic and back and forths between the siblings and that documentary style beginning though. kinda wish we got more of that instead of what we actually got.
