Best scene: the ending. Surprising ending for a poverty porn film.

Worst scene: Is there no food stamps or WIC in Iceland? The mom relying on free food samples at the grocery store just seemed really forced.

It took some time, but after a while this film grew on me. The actors and the direction here are excellent, and it doesn't matter that the story is at times too conventional. You get attached to the two main characters so much, that all of your doesn't matter, only the basic human connection.
