heavy stuff. i'm really thankful that i can't relate to anything in this film (i did do a little bit of longboarding back in the day tho).

using a mountain goats song in the closing credits was the final nail in the coffin.

I have never disagreed more and been frightened more with a statement in my film viewing experiences like this before. I kept viewing  the film but it really opened my eyes to people, especially the person who stated the quote above. And when they talk about wanting their son to not be fucked up like them. Truly an emotionally powerful piece of media about real people that needs to be seen by everyone. I wonder where these guys are nowadays. I hope their okay.
