Pity is a deftly made film about a man bossed with being pitied, and while it’s clearly inspired by Yorgos Lanthimos, the precise and sardonic visual storytelling makes for a twistedly entertaining time. Wonderfully dark. Tragedy and comedy has a thin line dividing them and this film knows it. The simple presentation allows the dark humor this film has to shine through, with the slow build up that clues you in on how twisted the main character is, with the best final ten minutes that only a film like this could have.

This was good but also terrible. I hated everyone in it but the dog. I almost feel sleep somewhere in the middle because this movie sounds like a very good unintentional ASMR video.
