Watching this after viewing “The Time that Remains” is so interesting, because this was a completely different type of storytelling. I really enjoyed having to think about the depth and symbolism of stillness. The stillness of this movie, not only made me expand my brain and think a little bit, but through the slow burn of the occupation, it gave me feelings that couldn’t be expressed through a concrete and blunt timeline.
