I often here people talking about how Korean cinema is amazing. Now i have not seen even close to every famous and talked about korean movie, but i have seen a few. But i have never really understood the hype, as i only really enjoy a few of them, with the rest being boring to fine. But with this I was prepared to watch a movie u would enjoy. I really thought i would like this
Now i often say I'm a fan of slow Cinema. And that still stands, slow movies are my jam. But that doesn't mean that i like a movie just cause it's 40 minutes too long and that's how I feel about this.
The acting is great. It looks beautiful and i believe that there is definitely a good movie in there somewhere. But it's so unnecessarily long and dull. I just didn't feel anything then boredom in many sequences. It was really annoying. It took me so much out of the movie that even during the more intense or interesting movements i didn't care cause the movie had done nothing but bore me.
Overall in really disappointed. I'm still gonna rate it better than what Ihonestly might feel, because as I said there is definitely many elements of a good movie. All you really need to do is shave all the unnecessarily lingering shots of nothing away and then you have a good movie about 40 minutes shorter
