Going in as a Fallout fan might have actually worked against this one for me. Fallout takes everything this film is doing and elaborates on it so much that coming back to the source just made it feel like a skeleton, the aesthetic is there but it felt pretty barebones compared to what I’m used to.
What kept me watching was honestly just the dynamic between Vic and Blood, the dialogue between them is genuinely fun and kind of carries the whole thing. The ending just didn’t really land for me though, I was kind of just sitting there like oh, that’s it? Felt like it needed way more buildup to actually hit the way it wanted to.
