A gripping emotional journey that takes a look at a fairly untapped vein of emotion. The adopted, refugee child adopted by a family, and a mother desperate to keep him safe. The movie even did a really good job showing how the parents weren't on the same page like they thought they were.

the messaging was all over the place and very underwhelming but the acting was really great and it gave me a small small tiny thrill
