Richard Roundtree still brings the cool as John shaft. He great in it and even as 2 original songs that are just nice to listen to.
The story is shaft investigates the death of a friend and gets involved with gangs, girls and finding a big score. The story isn't anything new but it works and has a great third act action sequence.
Shafts big score is a worth while sequel tthat brings all the cool and fun of the original with s great preformance. Shaft is still a bad mother.. ( shut yo mouth).
