In the homestretch for Halloween month, got a bunch of the old reliables lined up to watch so I figured I’d throw in something I’ve never seen before just to mix things up.

Pretty meh made for TV movie from the 90s I’m sure would have scared me if I had watched it when it came out but watching it now as a seasoned vet of the genre, it is what it is. Some cool scenes but otherwise I’ll probably forget I’ve watched this one in less than a year

The Jesus-y, bland family deserved much worse. By the end I was shrieking like the demon/ghost. What a fart. You get a few scenes that suggest the potential for escalation but it sort of just putters out.

Take this vibe and similar setup, then bang a hard left in the third act with some gonzo gore or depravity and you got a winner.
