A sweet, simple story of two young people falling in love, with themes of class, colorism and legacy showing off in the background. Not in a way that’s subtle but the romance is front and center. The couple’s differences are beautifully depicted to be the very thing that draws them to one another. A hilarious ending, mirroring the love story: sweet and simple.
