13th Miike Movie!

I wasnt a huge fan of the first zebraman and it’s honestly my least favorite Miike movie that i’ve watched so far. It wasn’t bad but it was just lacking something. THIS ON THE OTHER HAND LACKS NOTHING AND GOES ABSOLUTELY INSANE THIS IS AN INSANE AND GREAT SEQUEL. I mean just the plot is WAY more insane and goofy, the characters are better and without a doubt the creativity of this movie is THROUGH THE ROOF. This movie perfectly shows how creative Miike is and you can just tell he’s having the time of his life directing movies. This movie is silly, it’s super creative, and overall its a great sequel and I love it so so much. And dont even get me started on how good the music is in this.

somehow even more insane and (in my opinion) better than the already amazing original!! Evil Lady Gaga esc J-pop singer, more Zebraman, weird dystopian future, randomly saying “STOP AIDS” on screen?? wtf was this movie and that’s just scratching the surface. i will say, Riisa Naka absolutely steals the show here - all scenes with her on were amazing and the best! especially the music scenes/videos with her which were awesome and genuinely great music! overall, an insane, weird and incredible movie with Miike proving he is once again the master of cinema and shows you just how a superhero movie should be done! masterpiece!
