The directors most popular film Sipervad is a film I thought was funny, but lacking in personal enjoyment, perhaps a rewatch could help but it didn't have anything I would consider great. Here, with he director's first film The Daytrippers, he uses the familiar flula of the 24 hour journey film, a subgenre I love, and uses it as an excuse to tell a pretty well delivered story with plot threads that are resolved in ways that feel ripe. I have issues with some of the films structure, it could feel repetitive but that goes away rather quickly.
