"Celeste and Jesse forever."
"Happy ending."
"Actually, no. They didn't end up together."
FORESHADOWING??
"Have you ever fallen in love? True love. The kind where you don't know what to do, you don't know what to feel, and you can't breathe. Whenever you think of that person, your stomach drops. You know? And you don't know what you're capable of because you're scared. But at the same time, you want to do everything... because you're in love."
"Have you ever felt that way?"
"I wish... In my lifetime, I want to experience that kind of love."
Why is this so relatable??? I know I'm still young and will probably get to experience this in my 20s or so, but why not now? Or why not during my high school years? I've always felt this way toward someone I just label as a "crush" so I won't get too overwhelmed, and I think it was the nicest feeling I've ever felt.

The moment I saw Celeste and Jesse holding hands, I knew it was fucking wrong. MALING MALI. Jesse was already engaged. Men, i swear

That "take turns", huh. Ang sakit sakit. They both felt hurt, first Celeste when she found out Jesse was engaged, and now Jesse when he found out Celeste had a boyfriend.
