This film is honestly really emotional and really intense! I’m actually so shocked at how well Dave Franco portrayed his character and in my opinion it makes it so much more devastating. I genuinely do not know how to feel after watching this and honestly it has upset me realising that people go through this and people aren’t able to get help. I genuinely can’t get over the acting in this. Even thought I didn’t enjoy this too much as I thought it was a bit too emotional for me I still can’t get over Dave Franco’s acting and that honestly means that deserves more stars on my opinion. It’s quite hard for me to become shocked watching a film and this film did truly shock me. I did tear up multiple times watching this! And to be honest that ending did scare me a little bit…..

what if YOU threw a surprise birthday party for your THIRTY-SIX year old BOYFRIEND and YOU had to pick up your HEROIN ADDICTED BROTHER and his 2-YEAR OLD DAUGHTER and take him to DETOX but he started having WITHDRAWALS so instead you drive to a SKETCHY ALLEY and some dude gives you DRUGS from his MOUTH and you have to walk into a cvs to buy your BROTHER a NEEDLE and while you change your nieces SHITTY DIAPER he is in the stall RIGHT NEXT TO YOU doing HEROIN and suddenly he is FUN AND you guys are LAUGHING and eating CUPCAKES and all this happens while you're listening to the WORST audiobook in the WORLD
dave franco was so super good in this i was surprised i literally almost cried put him in more serious roles
