Another fantastic Kaufman film, which suffers a bit in it's cohesiveness because it was based off a book instead of being an original script.
The theatrical musicality does fit in well into the adaptation, and I very much enjoyed uncovering the reveal as the movie went along.
As usual with Kaufman, he plays into the idea that the mundane becomes extraordinary when portrayed through a flawed characters mind.
A solid film if you're into Kaufman's other works.
