This felt like such a good watch, it may be low budget, the scenes may not be shot in the best way, but the story really shines through all its faults. Seeing Rudy and Mogie's childhood and how they're living their lives in adulthood is so raw. Graham Greene is excellent in his role and I can feel the emotions of them all surrounding his circumstances. Rudy becoming a vigilante, while also showing similar emotions to his father, while also going into the questions of what is morality. The commentary on the US and its treatment of Native American people is told in such a powerful way.

for Skins TV Show Gen 1

i hate cassie with all my heart but not as much as i hate tony

sad that they abandoned the Chris and Angie stuff i really liked it

the show, especially season 1 which is near perfect (other than the russia episode), has some incredible symbolism, cinematography and complex characters, the show forces you to see them as friends which clouds your judgement of their character and makes you disregard some very alarming and damning stuff, but thats part of the realism of the show

for example cassie completely manipulates sid to fall in love with her by starving herself and attempting suicide in his name… then she gets together with him, goes to scotland and sid catches her on video getting massaged in her underwear by a naked guy (who turned out to be gay but sid never knew that), then sid broke up with her and got with michelle then cassie started manipulating sid again along with tony

(you have to suspend your beliefs a little though… tony is the most ridiculous character of all time) i enjoyed and understood it on a deeper level much more this watch than ever before

sid never did anything wrong btw
