All the hate on the British empire makes perfect sense. Ned’s actor killed this role opposite of Nicolas Holt. Some actors had a smaller role than expected, but it showcased the chaos and lack of support Ned had in his life. I think Joe leaving hurt Ned more than not being with Mary.
