Ever find a movie so awful and absurd you can’t help but subject yourself to it out of morbid curiosity? Tubi is a magical place filled with those. Thank you tubi for helping me discover this movie.
This is the most tumblr movie I’ve ever seen, this feels like a period piece. Aesthetically this is the type of shit you could find on MY tumblr when I was 14. Except for the ddlg I was scared of that. I assume this movie would have Melanie Martinez songs in it if they didn’t spend all their money going to Italy in the final scenes. As an art student I cannot suspend my disbelief and accept she was able to get into that art school in Italy man.
This movie is terrible in every way possible but I can’t help but kind of love it.

this movie reeks of the themes and aesthetics of mid-to-late tumblr but it lacks de authenticity that those require for anyone to connect with them. i wasn't entertained as much as i was amused at the fact that it was real and i was watching it. i wasn't sure if i had to suspend my disbelief or not. was it making fun of maya? or not? (i'm putting more thought into this than most of my homework tbh)
