Loved the atmosphere and audio in this one, worked very well in building tension in an otherwise bankrupt movie horror-wise. An interesting concept distracted by underdeveloped elements that felt tacked on. Striking visuals in a quite unique setting.

I bet it was amazing movie if I paid attention but I was genuinely just really bored throughout most of the movie. There were a few times where it caught my attention, and I followed along because the story is pretty basic, but I guess it’s not my cup of tea??

I wanted give higher rate but ending was meaningless and empty. The best thing about the movie is Kit Connor (Joe). I've read a comment about him which said "Kit plays roles which has daddy issues." And it is really accurate with him tho. Rocketman, Heartstopper, Little Joe — all of them include daddy issues yk. Despite his role was a dichhead, he was really too cute and I cant believe he grew up like that☠️ It is really insane.
Btw visually movie was great and charming. That is why it was pleasant to watch the movie.

I feel so on the fence about this.
Cool concept, great performance from the son and the score/sets are eerily beautiful.
However, that is the shittests punch I’ve ever seen in my life and I feel like I’ve got tinnitus now
Everything just felt a little slow
