i do remember watching this years ago and seeing timothee with a low taper fade awakened something inside of me, as i’ve been meaning to rewatch this for ages i am once again surprised by timmy’s great performance, he plays the king with withdrawn and weary actions, you never fully know whether to trust him or not - he appears confident but emotionally withdrawn which makes the movie kind of bleak and little boring at times.. there’s a lot of men speaking with an old english accent around a fireplace talking about war.. it gets dry at times. a very slow burn medieval drama that wins me over with timothee’s speech “make it england!!”
