Unfriended: Dark Web is unfortunately not as good as its predecessor, though it's not like Unfriended is the peak of cinema. The threat this time is very real and human rather than supernatural, and while initially I was interested, the plot and characters went a bit downhill. After finishing this I realised that I prefer supernatural horror over real-life evil, so I wasn't really spooked, and on top of that I kept thinking of that one meme format on TikTok from this film, so any immersion went straight out the window. I'm glad I gave this a go, but I don't think it's a film I'll be rewatching.
