Andy Sidaris is back, with a glorious retread of his greatest tits...uhh...hits. Explosions. Fast cars. Boobs. Sweeping Hawaiian locales. Bumper Sticker dialogue. Remote control cars. Helicopters.
But for all those familiar elements never let it be said that Sidaris isn't expanding his horizons, in this movie he actually casts a brunette!
Our bubbly busty blonde besties from Hard Ticket to Hawaii, Donna (Dona Speir) and Taryn (Heather Marie Carlton), are back continuing their undercover gig as cargo pilots/deep sea divers (with their very own inbuilt floatation devices) working for an unnamed spy agency. Yet another Abilene fam member takes the male lead, Travis Abilene (Steve Bond), who has inherited his cousins inability to shoot and also seems to have inherited Donna as his girlfriend. But Donna has some competition in the form of Roberta Vasquez as the aforementioned brunette Pantera (RIP Dimebag). The super-spys also have to deal with their very own Bond Villian in this encounter, with the sauve art dealer/tyrannical despot known as Picasso Trigger (John Aprea).
It's all more of the same, but when the same is so much goofy ass fun, then I can see nothing to complain about. Hope Marie Carlton is adorbs as Taryn, Dona Speir has a harder edge this time as Donna, adopting a penchant for cigarettes. Both gals definitely know how to fill out a Body Glove zip front wetsuit. It's nice to have Cynthia Brimhall back as Edy too, who has a sweaty gym session lycra make-out session with beefcake martial artist Jade (Harold Diamond). Roberta Vasquez is a hot ticket as the alluring yet mysterious Pantera (Fuck Phil Anselmo) and has somehow managed to walk away from a role in a Sidaris movies without have to expose her breasts. Steve Bond as Travis Abilene is definitely the weak link, lacking the charisma and comedic chops of Darby Hinton and Ronn Moss.
Clearly Sidaris got the memo about the reaction to Hard Ticket's bazooka blow-up doll as EVERY bad guy death in this movie is via explosion. We can't just be content with shooting the enemy here, they must be exploded by any means necessary, be that exploding RC cars, exploding boomerangs or exploding pacemakers. It's all very on brand for this super-spy agency who seem very macho and apple pie American, like Mack Bolan if the Stony Man crew all had titties.
"Well Kim, I'm gonna hit the Jacuzzi.
Ok, catch ya later Patticakes."
