Plot armour is a complete understatement with what some characters go through in this 🤣
Classic story of a broke guy living a gangster lifestyle and money being his downfall
Action was a entertaining and honestly the plot armour wasn’t a negative, sure the last fight was drawn out to the point of ridiculousness which impeded me giving a higher rating but I enjoyed this film overall

Mann those last 20 minutes were SO GOOD
But it’s the age old cure of the previous 100 minutes being bland and substanceless ‼️‼️

Would easily be 30 minutes shorter if you cut every pointless zoom, they are so much fun normally so idk how this fucked that up
If the first hour and a half had indicated more character or anything that would inform the last 20 mins in practically any way, this would be fab, but it just kept being boring and a bit daft

This is my first step into the word of the Shaw brothers. Let me tell you this is insanely epic with stunts and fight scenes to match. That final battle is insane, over the top and brutal. Kung Fu is the best
