a tale of two horndogs falling in love. this movies so beautiful honestly... the music, the switch from b&w to color, the ending, the sensuality, the romance, the everything… i LOVED this. didn’t expect to find such an earnest love story from a porno but here we are. also, the final scene where they mix documentary footage into the narrative. like wow.

seeing queer love at its most real and raw over 50 years ago is so cathartic. it’s truly an experience to empathize and relate so heavily with the men in this film and then realize what horrors were awaiting them a decade later :(

There’s just something so artistic about old gay porn films that i just really love about them like if you compare them to the ones nowadays they are just a bit better in my opinion because the old ones weren’t really focused on the sex scenes in itself but that they also had some type of story that pulled you in as you were watching them not to also mentioned the beautiful cinematography that was mixed in with the film as well like the many different colors and camera angles that were incorporated into them i did really love the whole gay parade towards the end of the film showing all the many different queer couples/people and showing them all having such a great time smiling and hanging out with people just like them and being in the comfort of their own community like i love seeing queer people be all happy and just enjoying life ❤️
