" I can't imagine the kind of pain you feel Matt. I'm not gonna pretend to. But don't condemn her to the same fate. She deserves better. You cleared her. She's at peace. Let her go, Matt. Let her go. "
" Finish it! "
the plot is a bit all over the place.
there's a voodoo priest , a comatose cop , reporters stirring things up , it tries to do a lot , and it doesn't quite land like the first two.
It's less focused , more scrappy.
the kills are where it lives.
Cordell takes out one of the doctors with the defibrillator paddles in the hospital , and then fries the other physician with X ray radiation.
the final stunt while he's on fire still delivers.
he survives the flames , chases the ambulance in a burning police car , and they finish it by tossing an oxygen tank into his ride before it blows.
and the cherry on top is still the detective picking up Cordell's charred arm and lighting his cigarette with it.
story's shaky , but those practical kills and that ending gag keep it fun.

I think I'd rather kick kittens into a waterfall than watch this movie again, way to massacre my favorite franchise. I regret rewatching this

Not as bad as I was expecting but still not great. Maniac cop was so much more subdued in this one and less the one causing the murders more so was just kind of there. Hilarious to see Robert Davi do things though he was really good in this movie like way more so than the second one.

This had a very troubled production but the end result was not as bad as I was expecting.
It is definitely a big step down from part two, which I think gave a good closure, the concept of “the bride of” I interesting in a sequel, I still like Robert Davi as de lead, as with his performance it gives a touch of noir, Robert Z’dar menacing as expected, Maniac cop is such a good horror villain however the story was not that interesting, the kills were not good, the action at the end was well executed but it was not enough and I did not found the rest of the characters compelling to watch.
