We see Whitney as a superhuman with an incredible voice, but also as a human being with her flaws who didn't know how to distinguish good from bad, the good from the bad in her life. I saw a review that said the last half hour of the documentary portrayed Whitney in an unflattering light. I dare say that we finally saw her in the right light: a human being who finally managed to become self-aware and knew how to correct her mistakes and rediscover her spark. Unfortunately, it was too late for her to overcome all her traumas, and her moment of courage was short-lived. I recommend watching this documentary with a box of tissues at your side.
