I truly believe this is the best animated film all time – the only thing that's ever really come close to it is Spider-Man: into the Spider-Verse or potentially The Lego Movie. But in the end, Soul is such an amazing film. I mean for a fairly recent Disney film, it's so beautifully deep and philosophical and it really digs into raw elements existentialism which I just adore in films, I really do. This film just does everything right, it's visually stunning, it tackles deep human issues, the animation is flawless and quality, and it even features some great music.
