wait hahaha this was extremely satisfying for me, a choir of man fan, spotting andrew carter in the middle of that competition? it's okay king i promise nobody noticed that voice crack!!!!!!
this was quite promising at the start because i was really excited to get that enemies (kinda) to lovers realness, especially considering how utterly charming i find hugh skinner tbh? and even when he was begrudgingly helping her and slowly falling for her i thought yep, this is good shit. only it was kind of boring as hell because there felt like no real tension or build up? it had the recipe for a GREAT romcom... her leaving everything behind for her dream job, falling for the irritating thorn in her side from the country side while falling out of love with her big city boyfriend, etc but it just didn't work. the entire cast were brilliant and charming but the actual plot failed them i fear !!!!
the proposal scene in particular was so strange and everything that followed felt kinda odd and forced
