It's essentially about a Japanese hannibal lecter who embarks on this journey of sexual exploration. What caught me off guard was how beautifully filmed it was despite the low budget, with some really effective use of those eerie liminal-esque shots and grotesque sound effects (very crunchy, I like it). It's fairly straightforward but also random at times, there's an obsessive yandere at one point and a fellow creepy cannibal fbi/police in the later end so the story doesn't feel the most cohesive but if you're looking for a stylish cannibal character study then I think this is the right one to watch. The practical effects both feel effective but also so obvious at the same time so you really won't be as disturbed as much but I can see this being a bit gross for some.
